This blog will chronicle what I hope will be many trips around the US and the world. I am on my own after losing my husband in 2009. This makes travel a whole different experience. No soulmate to share it with, but more freedom to interact with people and places. I'll see how it goes!

Thanks Sally and Dave
It's always hard to leave people you care about. The weekend was wonderful with good company, good walks, delicious food, and the generosity of old friends. I am taking some of Tucson and the Oro Valley home with me!
